Scranton’s online MBA with a Business Analytics specialization consists of 12 courses that combine foundational knowledge with hands-on learning to develop your skills. Topics include data mining, data visualization, statistical modeling and predictive analytics.
Guided by Jesuit tradition, our MBA is housed in the Kania School of Management, which is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Foundation courses are available for students needing supplemental education in areas such as statistics or economics, but may be waived depending on a students’ background education.
This specialization is taken as part of the 36 total credits required for the MBA degree.

Admissions Requirements
To apply for Scranton’s Master of Business Administration program, you’ll need:
- Completed application
- Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities
- Professional résumé
- 3 years of professional or supervisory experience
- Statement of intent
- 3 letters of reference — at least 1 from a supervisor or other professional reference
- A written response to a case study*
- No GMAT/GRE required
