The International Business specialization of Scranton’s MBA curriculum will prepare you to:
- Exercise a global view on financial management of multinational business, with an understanding of world financial markets, institutions, instruments, the openness of global economies and the interdependence of the world markets.
- Make decisions rooted in an appreciation for ethical, social and justice issues in the international business environment.
- Access and analyze macroeconomic data with an appreciation for issues pertaining to domestic and global macroeconomic environments.
- Understand the influences on International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and the difference between US GAAP and IFRS.
- Navigate the unique issues faced by multinational enterprises versus domestic enterprises in the areas of external reporting, auditing and managerial accounting.

Admissions Requirements
To apply for Scranton’s Master of Business Administration program, you’ll need:
- Completed application
- Undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities
- Professional résumé
- 3 years of professional or supervisory experience
- Statement of intent
- 3 letters of reference — at least 1 from a supervisor or other professional reference
- A written response to a case study*
- No GMAT/GRE required
