- Principles of Excellence:
The University of Scranton intends to undertake good faith compliance with Executive Order 13607 Principles of Excellence, pending clarifying guidance from the Departments of Defense, Education, and Veteran’s Affairs, and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Online Classes Attract Diverse Students
Along with our high-quality educational experience, military students—veterans and active duty service members—benefit from the diversity of perspectives offered through our online programs. Small class sizes of up to 20 students encourage a strong connection to both peers and faculty. Students communicate with each other and their professors through email, online chat and message boards throughout the course program period.
When you enroll in one of our online programs, you will experience an unparalleled educational opportunity to broaden your knowledge in your program specialization and understanding of different cultures and backgrounds. You will interact with classmates from all over the world, both military and civilian. The University of Scranton welcomes online students from diverse environments, including military service members on active duty, veterans, U.S. citizens abroad and other international participants.
Learn Online at Your Convenience
Pursuing your advanced degree has never been more convenient. You can access your courses from your computer with Internet capability at any time—our classes are available when you are. Because of the demands of a military student’s lifestyle—and the possibility of being deployed overseas—we give our online military students the flexibility of learning completely online.
Our military students can take advantage of different government programs to defray the cost of pursuing an advanced online degree at The University of Scranton. Students from a variety of military branches can use the G.I. Bill and the military tuition reimbursement programs for active duty service members to cover tuition costs.
BRIAN HOLSTE: University of Scranton saved my MBA in the sense that I was starting on the program in one part of the country, and due to mobilizations overseas in Iraq, Afghanistan, I found that the staff was very, very helpful in ensuring that I continued with my education, were very responsive and informative to things that were required in order for me to finish at a time when my outside life was going through a lot of stuff, you know? A separation from family or physical separation.
I was actually able to continue some of my programs in the University of Scranton while on one mobilization.
