Due to the many benefits that an advanced degree has to offer; the pursuit of an advanced degree has increased significantly. From a pure numbers perspective, the rewards and opportunity an advanced degree provides over an undergraduate degree is startling.

In the winter of 2016, I had one year of the MBA program under my belt. I had just come back from the holiday break, and I was struggling somewhat with my ability to get back into a groove after three weeks off.

Choosing the University of Scranton to pursue my MBA degree was one of the easier life decisions that I have made as an adult.

Although my first discussion with The University of Scranton was somewhat haphazard, my decision to enroll was very intentional and I could not be more pleased with that decision.

Completing three credits in eight weeks is rewarding and challenging. On the positive side, eight weeks fly by, and before you know it you have another course under your belt. It is so much more encouraging to make progress towards your goals every eight weeks, rather than 16 weeks.

As an adult learner who earned my undergraduate degree in the late 80’s, I was a bit apprehensive about starting school again after so many years.

I could never proclaim to have the busiest schedule that ever existed. I know plenty of working mothers who go to school and volunteer many hours on top of their widely busy schedules.
